1. You describe Oakridge as an “ethical” search firm. What does this mean?
Our business is conducted in an honest and straightforward manner. Our relationships within our community are the foundation for our growth and livelihood. Adding value to the career development of our candidates and attracting qualified professionals to our clients are the main products of our service. Necessary requirements of that product is being truthful to the people we serve and transparent in our dealings.


2.  How do you handle candidate resumes?

Most importantly, all resumes and candidate information are confidentially maintained. The resume provided to Oakridge is kept as a Word attachment within our automated database system. This version of your resume is presented to our client only after candidate authorization. Candidates are provided the client name, position description and company information prior to authorization to present credentials.


3.  What are your fee arrangements?

Professional fees earned are paid by our client companies upon successful completion of our search. Signed contracts detailing these arrangements are required in advance.


4.  What methods do you use to successfully identify qualified professionals?

  • New assignments are matched with our current database of professionals
  • Referral sources within our network are identified and contacted
  • Old fashioned recruiting from in-house and externally developed corporate research
